About us

Esan Progressive Association of Atlanta is a non-for-profit organization. The Association was formed in 1997. The Association was formed to give a forum for all Esan people in Atlanta Georgia to come together to share their common heritage and also, to facilitate an avenue for members and their families to come together to celebrate and share the Esan culture and traditions.

We reach out to all Esan people as our brothers and sisters, while fostering an environment to put together our resources to help the Esan community both here in Atlanta and the entire Esanland. Together in unity we can make a difference!

A message from the President.

I have the privilege of introducing to you the official website of the Esan Association of Atlanta. I am from Opoji, Esan West, Edo State.

First let me thank all the Esan people here in Atlanta for entrusting me with the leadership of this Association for the next two years. I am truly humbled and with your cooperation and God's guidance, we shall achieve all our desired goals.

My goal for the next two years is to seek out our Esan brothers and sisters who have not yet identified with the association and bring them to the fold. I also would like to have a club house here in Atlanta dedicated and uniquely for the Esan sons and daughters here in Atlanta.

I challenge all Esan sons and daughters to join in the efforts to achieve these goals. When we are united nothing is impossible.

I rely on all your advice and support as we both travel this journey together. So on behalf of the Executive, I say thank you for your support and trust as we pray God to guide us in all we do.

            Long live the ESAN people!

            Ma Khato Ma Khale Ise!
